Established in 1891, the Brockton Point Cricket Club stands as one of Vancouver’s oldest and most cherished cricket institutions. Nestled within the iconic Brockton Oval in Stanley Park, our club has been a cornerstone of Canadian cricket for over a century .
In 1914, we proudly became one of the seven founding members of the British Columbia Mainland Cricket League (BCMCL), a testament to our commitment to fostering cricket’s growth in the region .
The Brockton Oval is more than just a cricket ground; it’s a symbol of our enduring passion for the sport. With breathtaking views of the North Shore Mountains and Vancouver Harbour, it’s no wonder that cricket legend Don Bradman once described it as “the most beautiful cricket ground in the world” .
Our clubhouse, the Brockton Pavilion, constructed in 1927 and restored in 1984, serves as the heart of our community, hosting events and preserving our rich history .
